If you are wondering what an appointment actually involves, your first visit sets out the forty five minutes in order, what you leave with, and how to come prepared.
Hours
By appointment. The specific weekly hours are being set alongside the build-out and will be posted here once booking opens, rather than guessed at in advance. If you would like to know when that happens, join the waitlist at the bottom of this page.
Getting here
Parking
Street parking on and around Third Street is usually available during business hours. It is metered in places, so check the sign on the block you park on.
Light rail
The Muni T Third Street line runs the length of Third Street and stops at 20th Street, in Dogpatch.
Caltrain
The 22nd Street station sits just south of 22nd Street, between Dogpatch and Potrero Hill, and is within walking distance. Muni routes 48 and 55 also serve that station.
Reaching us
Email hello@aahanaskin.com. Before the practice opens, that address is the way to ask a question, and it is read by Dr. Shankar.
Please do not send medical details, photographs of a skin concern, or anything else you would consider private. Email is not a secure channel, and those conversations belong in a consultation where they can be handled properly. A sentence describing what you are interested in is enough to start.
Access
The accessibility of the entrance, treatment rooms and restroom is being specified during the build-out rather than described after the fact. If you have a specific access need, email before your visit and we will tell you plainly whether we can meet it. Our accessibility statement covers the website and will cover the building once it is finished.
